Thank you to everyone who attended the AGM and Business Excellence Awards on Tuesday evening, 25 November. It was a fantastic opportunity to recognise and celebrate the outstanding businesses that contribute so much to the Bungendore community.

We are pleased to announce the 2025 award recipients:

Best New Business in Bungendore – The Malbon
The Malbon has quickly become a destination in Bungendore, showcasing the work of more than 60 local artisans and makers in a beautifully curated retail space on Malbon Street. With its blend of history, creativity, and local flavour (including Eric’s coffee van on site), The Malbon is a welcoming gateway for visitors and a valuable platform for small local businesses.

Trade Services Award – EnviroAg Services Pty Ltd
EnviroAg Services has been delivering high-quality environmental remediation and land management services for many years, from private properties to major government projects. Known for their expertise in weed management, revegetation and ecological best practice, the team is highly regarded for their professionalism, reliability and commitment to sustainable outcomes.

Community Service Award – LINRAY Finance
For over 30 years, LINRAY Finance and Anthony (Tony) Rayner have supported the Bungendore community, particularly through long-term involvement with the Bungendore Tigers rugby league club and the development of women’s league tag. LINRAY is known for its personalised, mobile service and strong focus on making finance accessible and straightforward for clients, wherever they are.

Service Excellence Award – PRD Bungendore
PRD Bungendore is recognised not only for consistently high levels of professional real estate service, but also for its extensive contribution to the local community. The team actively supports local events, promotes other businesses, and plays a visible role in enhancing Bungendore’s profile as a destination, while providing friendly, reliable service to buyers, sellers and investors.

President’s Award – Wellbeing Pilates Studio
Wellbeing Pilates Studio, owned by Cathie Preston and Rachael Sands, offers tailored Pilates programs in a welcoming and supportive environment. Their work helps clients of all ages build strength, mobility and confidence, and the studio has quickly become an important space for health and wellbeing in the region. Cathie’s long-standing contribution to local fitness and community wellbeing was also acknowledged through this award.

Business of the Year – On Ellendon Hair and Beauty
On Ellendon Hair and Beauty, led by Marcel Lovelock and Sharon, has served Bungendore and the wider region for more than two decades. They are widely praised for their professional, personalised service, long-term client relationships and strong community spirit. From supporting local events and charities to offering home visits and additional assistance for those in need, On Ellendon embodies the values of care, consistency and genuine community involvement.
